COVID-19

Updated Information as of March 26, 2020

Hello My NFL Flag Families,

We hope that all of our families across East County are staying healthy and safe as we all continue to go through these difficult times. We would like to let everyone know that we continue to stay informed and are monitoring the COVID-19 situation as it pertains to the health and safety of our families.  On Tuesday, March 24th, the City of Santee informed us that they have extended their field closure through April 12th.  Although this new update from the City of Santee does not provide us with sufficient information for us to know exactly how our Spring 2020 season will proceed, we do know in order to continue our season we will have to proceed with an alternate type of schedule. There are various options we are exploring for this alternative schedule, but please keep in mind that we must work with the City of Santee and our Santee Sports Council in regards to field availability once this field closure has been lifted. We hope to provide information on what our alternative schedule will look like within the next couple of weeks, pending the information gathered by the City of Santee and our Santee Sports Council. It is our goal to have all families, coaches, and especially our players, have the opportunity to experience a wonderful 2020 Spring Season amid our current situation. In the event that the field closures are extended for an extensive period of time, we will continue to explore the best case solution for this and provide information as it is determined. At this time we do not have any further information to be shared.  Updates regarding our season will be posted on our Facebook Page and our website and will be communicated as quickly as possible.

Thank you all and please understand we share in your frustration and concerns but appreciate your patience and understanding through this unprecedented time.

Sincerely,

My NFL Flag Football

We have been actively following news and reports regarding COVID-19. As we get updates and reports every hour it seems like, we understand the importance of communicating our actions with our league.  Please understand that we have been working on finding the best case solution to this issue.  For the safety and security of all our players, families and fans, as of today, March 12, 2020, My NFL Flag Football, is suspending all games, practices and events starting today till at least the end of March. This has been a very difficult decision to be made but we understand we're helping the community to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19 as we follow the guidelines set forth by The California Department of Public Health. ( please see attached letter)   This process will remain in place at least through the remainder of March.  As with all guidance that relates to COVID-19 response, we will revisit this information is gathered so that we can determine what further actions may need to be taken for our 2020 Spring Season.

We hope as a collective community, we all can do our part to fight this serious contagious virus.

At this time we do not have any further information to be shared. We will provide information on plans for the remainder of the season as they are determined. Updates regarding our season will be posted on our Facebook Page and our website and will be communicated as quickly as possible.

Thank you all and please understand we share in your frustration and concerns but appreciate your patience and understanding through this unprecedented time.
